2. Team Lists
The names of players in both teams must be entered on the official score card by 7:30 p.m. Teams will
comprise of 4 players seeded 1-4 in order of ability. The order will be taken from the rankings list
provided from last season. For those players who do not appear on the.list, the team captains should
endeavour to place them in order of true ability, where No. I equals the strongest and so on. Such
players will be placed at bottom level of the ranking for their respective grade unless the League
committee is aware of the player's ability and is able to place them more accurately. The seed ranking
list will be continually updated and should be up to date by Week 3. After this time the order from the
rankings list is to be used.
3. Starting Time

5. Miss Rule
The "miss rule" will not be played or enforced during the course of the league due to the limited
numbers of persons who are qualified as referees, and the problems this has caused in past seasons.
A deliberate miss is already covered in the rules of Snooker and such rules will continue to apply.
6. Matches
Matches should be played in reverse order i.e. 3 v 3 and 4 v 4 play first, unless agreed by both
Captains. Tables will be decided by toss of a coin i.e. 3 & I share one table and 4 & 2 on the other.
Snooker matches shall comprise 3 frames with each frame won counting one point, plus an extra
point to the winning player:
3 -0 win = 4 points to the winner.
2- 1 win = 3 points to the winner.
If a player is 29 points or more behind when only blue, pink and black remain that frame shall end.
7. Referees
All team members must referee and score matches when not playing - no free rides. The referee is
the SOLE JUDGE; players must accept and abide by the referee's decision. A referee may confer
with the marker, but his or her decision, after such conference, is FINAL. Any disputes regarding
interpretation of the rules of Snooker may be referred,in writing only, to League Committee.
8. Player Regulations

interpretation of the rules of Snooker) will be arbitrated by the League committee on receipt of
